The kids loved exploring the easy-to-navigate grounds, and we enjoyed the beautiful private beach. The staff service was very nice, especially with the warm greetings we received upon arrival. We also loved the three fine free-form pools, made it easy for us to relax!

Having a small lounge area, climate control, and a minibar in our beautifully maintained and newly renovated room. Its location is incredible on the shore.

Everything was great ... Preferred translation of the menu and the system environment on the Russian language, and add the Russian TV channels! Prices are not low, and therefore you will be happy to visit enough intelegentnye, calm and respectable Russian!
noisy neighbors, due to lack of good English, sometimes staff do not understand us, it brings discomfort. just do not understand why they can not recover VAT? in the accounts at the exit, he was absent although everywhere it into account ... do all of the cost of budgeted taxes. so it will be more confidence!

Very friendly and accomodating staff - excellent welcome too! Great location - close to Patong (10 mins on shuttle or taxi) but good to be away from the busy shopping areas. Three pools were beautiful and as good as they look. Lot of options at breakfast and was good. Italian restaurant was expensive but beautiful. Loved it would stay again.
Had to pay for 'free wi fi' to use and it was only available in the reception. Room was lovely, but bed was too hard. Pool opening hours should be longer - 8am - 8pm is not ideal when on holiday. Swim up pool bar should be open longer than 11am - 6.30pm. Hotel prices for food when compared with off site options are too high - more people might eat at the hotel if it was cheaper. Can't swim in the hotel beach due to the rocks.

The staf were rude, they justefied reasons to charge me more, which they did, rooms were not up to standard for the price I paid, I paid for a seaview 2 rooms which both had bearly any seaview, the walking distance to the rooms was too far, the breakfast was below standard, no body seemed to be watching people swiming at the pool specially for kids(life guard), the private beach for the hotel wad unclean and the water had alot of rocks in it unlike other beaches in the area.

Place was terrific and magnificent, truly enjoyed the stay.
We booked double room with the fruit basket and 2 double beds plus the amazing balcony. Courteous staff in assisting to get to access to-and-from the hotel, thanks to them everything was very good.

The staff, they made the stay so pleasant within the lovely surroundings of an excellant hotel.
It would have been less stressful if the hotel had arrnaged the airport to hotel transfer without having to supply passport and credit card details. As it happened I arrived without this transfer arranged and the airport taxi was not only easy, professional but proved to be cheaper.

We came back last week from Phuket and spent six fantastic nights at the Merlin Beach resort. booked through Bookings.com and as usual had no problems. Check in at hotel was prompt and the rooms was clean, also daily cleaning service of high standard. The linen spotless and ample dry towels available at pool. The hotel itself was absolutely lovely with everything just as in the pictures and better, we stayed in a Superior room and two nights in a deluxe room, all the rooms look out over the pool or sea. The fly screens on the doors are a plus to keep the mozzies away. We had a fantastic time with good breakfast, plenty of choices, (yummiest Danish pudding ever), easy transfer with free shuttle to Patong area and back, just ask at front desk. We even done a bit of snorkeling on the small beach area of Tri Trang, free movies on the lawn at the Zea restaurant, in front of the hotel. The swimming pools are a delight and the only problem been to choose which one to swim in. Thank you everybody at Merlin Beach Resort for making our stay memorable for all the right reasons.
